Morgan Stanley/Specialized/24hrFitness & TeamSpine unite

Now don't that just roll off the tongue. Its a mouthful, but its making my mouth water and I'm so excited for next year!!!!!

We're going to have some fun- new bikes, new kits, some new guys to race with along with the guys I've been racing with since 2002. We just faded for a couple of years, now we will be back stronger then ever in both the 45's and 35's.

I do wish Safeway was still going to be around, but I'm sure there will be plenty of other changes in the next few weeks. I did see Pasco spending alot of time with Bosch at Timpani, makes me think they are up to something..oh well looks like changes are happening around here in the Masters.

This merger is for the better!

Well...that is certainly an interesting conglomeration.

I agree...its a good fit all around. Gotta keep up with the jones, and don't want the spine to die on the vine.

Needed some wind in the sails.

I am actually quite interested to see how things play out next year. I am far more interested in watching what happens with the Nor Cal Masters than with the pros.

I'll likely be watching from the sidelines of the Masters races, with a periodical view from the pack fodder seating. I dipped my toe in it for a few years, but the talent pool is currently beyond my genetics.

With the Specialized connection, you'll be able to get your very own TT blade. But of course, you'll have to ride with Chris Black. Chris, you don't read this blog, do you?

spinouts, mergers, rebranding and possible tents folding will make it interesting for sure

are you going to wear red white blue and yellow? not sure my eyes could handle that combo....

red, white, blue, and yellow?
sounds like a gay parade.

WOW, I like it.

I dont have a clue what I'll be wearing but I do know I'm not going to continue on the same path I have been.

Either going to change it up or run Marathons.......either way I'll be a happy dork.

My suggestion of Team Morgan Stanley/Spine (Team MSS) was shot down... .

Spinely's good, though.

Just hoping I can add value.

Hey, I have no quarrels with the Black man. Especially since he packs heat when he rides. The oddly sexual grunting as he gets his big lump over hills can be a bit disconcerting. And the great thing about Chris is that you won't have to keep a race diary. The man has a freaky encyclopedic memory for race info. Ask him how I did in the 1990 Yuma city crit, and what lap I broke away. He'll know. Freaky, but he'll know.

No Idea on the CVC

I thought BB would have a golden ticket after the year he had but he says he hasn't talked to anyone.

I'm not going to do the same gig year after year as we talked about so I'm on the market!

Not that I'm good for much but I'm ya know........good for something I'm sure
