What are your countertops? I was thinking of doing that countertop thing around the end of the peninsula, but the countertops are already the most expensive thing in our otherwise budget kitchen.

It does look cool though.

I wanna make some serious stir fry on that range of yours.

It looks great!

Does your electrician know you only need one GFCI on a circuit to protect every outlet (after that one) on the circuit?

Countertops=Ceaserstone.

Emily-when you and the big polish guy coming down for food, vino and oh yhea riding?

Warren, can you be my next GC? Do we need any stainless behind the stove or can we tile it from the base of the stove to the hood?.

Convection..right, thx I forgot.

M&D-yup still talking, therapy is going well too:)

Tile is good (heat-resistant) and probably easier to keep looking clean. Make sure you seal the grout with at least two coats annually so it won't stain from something like pasta sauce or a red wine stroganoff.

That is one stylin' kitchen-like something from a magazine or one of those TV shows where they talk about what's new in kitchens.
